Esha knew she wanted to have her maternity portraits at the beach. Natural bridges is one of our most picturesque beaches, so that was the location we chose. Our summer beach weather can often be cloudy, and the day of her session was no exception. Overcast skies don't detract from the beauty of her session at all!

Whether it's your first pregnancy or your 5th, let's celebrate your body and the work it's doing to grow new life. We'll create beautiful heirloom artwork that you'll be able to look back on to remember this special time. You have a partner in planning your bay area maternity portrait session so that your images turn out just how you envision. From planning the location and wardrobe, to hanging your artwork in your home, everything will be one seamless process.

It's so exciting to talk to families who are expecting a baby! Whether it's your first baby or there are siblings who will be a part of the session, it's always a special time. Once you fill out my contact form, I'll be in touch soon. The more details you provide, the better!
1. Say Hello
2. Schedule it
Once we find a date that works for both of us (the best time to schedule is between 30 & 35 weeks of pregnancy), I'll send you a contract and invoice for your retainer. Your session date and time are secured once the contract is signed and the session fee is paid.
A few weeks before your session, we'll meet (usually over Zoom) to plan all the details of your session. From location, to wardrobe, to timing, we'll knock out all of the details together. This meeting is so helpful to make sure we're on the same page and prevent so many back-and-forth emails.
3. ask me Anything
On the day of your session, we'll meet at the planned location and time. Some people are more comfortable in front of my camera than others, but take comfort knowing that however you feel, I'll help guide you with prompts and poses to look your best. If children are a part of the session, I make it very playful so that they can have fun too, and we can get those natural smiles.
4. Your Photo Sesssion
The most exciting part of the process is your gallery reveal! We'll have a virtual meeting where you'll see a slideshow of all of your beautiful images. This is also where we can work on wall gallery and album design. From here, you'll receive a link to your online gallery so you can download your purchased digital images right to your computer. You'll receive any prints or products you ordered right to your home in a few weeks.
5. your Gallery Reveal
Collections starting at $1500
To book a session, a $500 retainer and signed contract are required. You'll order your digital images, prints and products after you view your images in your online gallery about two weeks after your session. Your retainer will be put towards your purchase. Please inquire for detailed pricing information.

She can do it all and makes taking photographs a fun and memorable experience (even when your newborn won’t sleep or your toddler doesn’t want to take photos). Laura is so patient and kind and makes you feel so comfortable while taking your picture. Her new photobook and canvas offerings are also beautiful and of such high quality. I just cannot recommend Laura enough!

Laura made the whole process so easy. She met us there and knew of some places there with great trees and light that we walked to before doing pictures on the beach. She knew the perfect time to be there to get the perfect light. She was wonderful with my 6 and 8 year old boys. She was also very helpful with outfit ideas and poses. We got our pictures recently and they are amazing! I would highly recommend Laura!

She also took the time to get to know details about my children before the session so she could easily engage with them. Laura’s service and product was amazing from the beginning to the end. One important service that makes her business stand out is that she helps you to setup the photos at your home. She helps to design your wall with recommendations of print sizes. If this service wasn’t provided I’m not sure how long it would take for us to take the time to print out the pictures let alone figure out what to print. She really takes care of you from the beginning to the end.
