The newborn Experience
Mama, when I walk into your home to photograph your new baby, I want you to know I'm here for you. When I ask you how you are, I mean it. Those first few months with a new baby are some of the most emotional ones of your life, and however you're feeling is ok. No matter how you're experiencing new motherhood, you've got this, mama. And I, as your Bay Area newborn photographer, am here to capture the beauty of it.

Let's start the conversation about your bay area newborn photography session! Fill out my contact form to introduce yourself. Be sure to let me know your due date! I'll be in touch as soon as possible to go over all the details with you.

2. Let's book!
Babies don't usually come on their due dates, but I do base my calendar on their due date. To book, you'll pay the retainer fee and sign my contract, and then I'll reserve your due date on my calendar. Baby may arrive sooner or later, and whenever they arrive, I'll be ready! Once baby arrives, you'll notify me ASAP and we'll set an exact date on a weekday morning that works for both of us.
About a month before your due date, we'll meet (usually over Zoom) to plan all the details of your session. From wardrobe, to timing, we'll knock out all of the details together. This meeting is so helpful to make sure we're on the same page and prevent so many back-and-forth emails.
3. ask me Anything
When I enter your home, the very first thing I'll do is wash my hands - safety first! I'm trained in newborn safety, so you can rest assured that I will take good care of your new baby through all of the poses, and wrapping them up snug. If there is an older sibling, I like to start with photos that include them, so that they are free to other activities while I finish up with photos of baby on their own.
4. Your newborn Sesssion
The most exciting part of the process is your gallery reveal! We'll have a virtual meeting where you'll see a slideshow of all of your beautiful images. This is also where we can work on wall gallery and album design. From here, you'll receive a link to your online gallery so you can download your purchased digital images right to your computer. You'll receive any prints or products you ordered right to your home in a few weeks.
5. your Gallery Reveal
Collections starting at $1800
To book a session, a $500 retainer and signed contract are required. You'll order your digital images, prints and products after you view your images in your online gallery about two weeks after your session. Your retainer will be put towards your purchase. Please inquire for detailed pricing information.

She can do it all and makes taking photographs a fun and memorable experience (even when your newborn won’t sleep or your toddler doesn’t want to take photos). Laura is so patient and kind and makes you feel so comfortable while taking your picture. Her new photobook and canvas offerings are also beautiful and of such high quality. I just cannot recommend Laura enough!

Laura made the whole process so easy. She met us there and knew of some places there with great trees and light that we walked to before doing pictures on the beach. She knew the perfect time to be there to get the perfect light. She was wonderful with my 6 and 8 year old boys. She was also very helpful with outfit ideas and poses. Laura’s service and product was amazing from the beginning to the end. One important service that makes her business stand out is that she helps you to setup the photos at your home. She helps to design your wall with recommendations of print sizes. If this service wasn’t provided I’m not sure how long it would take for us to take the time to print out the pictures let alone figure out what to print. She really takes care of you from the beginning to the end.
