If there's one thing I've learned from being a mom and having my own family photo days it's this: digital images are nice to have, but without guidance and someone walking me through it, I am never going to get those pictures on my wall. I've found that my clients are similar to me. We can have the best intentions to put together an album, and dream up a gallery wall in our heads, but time passes and we don't actually get there. That's where I come in! From the start, we'll be in conversation about what you actually want to do with your images. I'll guide you along the way from color coordination to gallery wall layouts and styles, and in the end you'll have your beautiful memories on display to enjoy. One other thing I've learned? With the proper planning and expectations, family photo day can actually be fun! Let's make memories together!

Q: So, What's the Investment?
A $500 retainer and signed contract reserves your session time on my calendar, and we'll start the planning process. The remaining balance is due one week before your session.

Choose maternity, newborn or family. All sessions include your full gallery of edited high resolution digital images.
Newborn Session
A newborn session in the comfort of your own home. I'll bring everything I need with me - along with your favorite coffee order - for a beautiful session.

Multi-session Collections
Save $200 when you purchase two sessions together, and $300 when you purchase three or more together.
Book with 50% of the combined session total down. The remaining amount will be split evenly between your sessions.
You'll also receive a $50 print credit, and an additional 10% off printed products, including wall galleries and albums.

Most families I photograph choose to display their memories with heirloom-quality albums and wall art. My clients choose me because of the guidance and planning that every session includes. I'll show you what looks good on your walls and help you get there!

Common FAQs
Q: How many images will i receive?
A: You can expect to receive around 40-50 high-resolution digital images in your online gallery, which you can then download to your computer
Q: what locations do you recommend?
A: When we plan your session after you book, we'll discuss which of my favorite locations will be best for you, based on your preferences and how you want your photos to look on your walls. Newborn sessions are conveniently done in your own home.
Q: How far in advance should I book my session?
A: Maternity and newborn sessions should be booked as soon as you know your due date. If you're already further along, though, it doesn't hurt to check for availability. For family sessions, it's best to book the season before you'd like your session. For example, if you'd like a fall family session, it's best to book in the summer. Keep in mind that some seasons, such as fall, book up very quickly!
Q: Do you provide wardrobe guidance?
A: Yes! As part of your planning meeting, we'll discuss your wardrobe. I help by providing color coordination advice, and even sometimes with links to specific outfits if you'd like. For maternity portraits, I have a few dresses available to borrow, and a few favorite websites I recommend for purchasing something new.
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: I photograph with a Sony a7rIII and a7III with prime lenses. My favorite lenses are a 35mm and 85mm.
Q: Do you offer any albums, prints, canvases, etc?
A: Yes! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want and you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing. I even design custom wall art galleries so you can be confident your order will look great on your walls.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Inquire for more details.
Q: what happens if it rains or there is bad air quality on the day of my session?
A: While rain isn't something we have to worry about too often in the Bay Area, on occasion I do have to reschedule because of it. Since we tend to get extremely light or on/off rain, we will make the call about 3 hours before your session time. For air quality, I automatically reschedule if the AQI is more than 150. I'll let you make the call depending on your comfort level between 100-150. We will move forward with the session if the AQI is below 100.
Q: How do I book you for my session?
A: Love that question the most! To book me for your session, simply email me and say "let's do this!" From there we'll pick a date, and I'll send over the contract and invoice. Once signed and paid, your date is secure!
