Los Gatos Newborn Photography: Convenient and Comfortable in Your Own Home

When your photographer comes to you, newborn portraits become a lot more doable in those early days with your new baby. Many families love the convenience of an in-home Los Gatos newborn photography session. Lifestyle newborn photography captures the interactions between the new baby and the rest of the family, while posed images focus on the new baby and all the tiny details you’ll want to remember.

Big siblings tend not to have a long attention span, so an in-home session allows them to do their own thing once their turn in front of the camera is over. The primary bed also makes a comfortable place for family snuggles, which make for the sweetest photos.

In-Home Los Gatos Newborn Photography

One of my favorite things about in-home newborn photography is how it captures the family’s home. The home you first introduce your baby to is so special. I love that families will forever have these photos to help them hold onto these memories.

Sometimes families are concerned that the light in their house isn’t enough. Typically, I’ll take a tour of their home when I first arrive and am always able to find pockets of light to create beautiful images with. I do bring lighting with me in case I need it – especially on cloudy or dreary days. For this Los Gatos newborn photography session, I took advantage of good light in a few different rooms of their home.
